Welcome to Sound Steppers Volkssport Club

Sound Steppers Volkssport Club is an organization which promotes non-competitive volkssports.

Popular sports (volkssports) are walking, bicycling, swimming, cross country skiing, skating, snowshoeing etc. which are non-competitive and have no specified time limits or “winners.” Walking events (volkswalks) are the most popular.

Three Walk Distances

5K – Rated 2

This walk goes through the Town of Woodway, on sidewalks and quiet streets.  You will see large homes, wooded acreage and horse corrals

10K – Rated 3

This walk is on sidewalks to the Edmonds downtown and waterfront, with a return through the Town of Woodway.

20K – Rated 3

This walk is a tour of Edmonds parks, Golf Course trail, Edmonds waterfront and return through Town of Woodway.

Start Times:  8am to Noon        (Please start by 9:00 am for 20K)       End Time: 3pm

Start Point is Former Woodway High School, 23200 100th Ave West, Edmonds
