There’s not a whole lot to Herfy’s Burgers & Shakes in Edmonds. It’s affordable, casual, quick-serve eatery specializing in charbroiled burgers and milkshakes.
A “small” order of crinkle-cut fries proved so large I debated offering to share them with some hungry folks waiting for their food. Shakes are made with real milk and soft-serve ice cream that come in several sizes. A small blackberry shake was so satisfying I had to fight the urge to return for another. Lucky you. You don’t have to. You could try the blueberry, butterscotch malt, or any of Herfy’s approximately 20 other flavors (not counting the unique combination you might invent when you visit).
Finally, a nod to history. Once upon a time, Herfy’s was a popular Seattle-area burger chain. Although the chain is long gone, the name Herfy’s lives on in a couple of independently owned locations in the Puget Sound area.
